We also meet January 14 (registration closes January 9th) and February 11th, registration closes on Feb 5th. Please note we are planning to hold this class on the second Tuesday of each month and we hope you can join us!
Bring your own supplies, if you like. Detailed supply list will be provided along with some sample supplies allowing you to try different mediums.
This class promotes sharing work and developing skills based on personal goals. Classes are perfect for beginners to intermediate students. Each class includes a 10 minute warm up exercise in learning to see, a 60 minute still life drawing time, and a 20 minute discussion expressing our creative ease, challenges and goals.
Maria Ava Totina Ramos studied Fine Arts at the College of Charleston, Fiber and Studio Arts through UGA and Paper Arts at Joseph C Campbell. Currently her art is focused on bringing joy to the viewer.
She has received grants and awards from Didi Dunphy of the Lyndon House, The Blue Heron Nature Preserve, Piccolo Spoleto, and the Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild. She has collectors abroad and in the US with public work on display at the Blue Heron Preserve in Atlanta.
She believes we are all creative and her classes specialize in uncovering each person's unique talents.
